We are pleased to announce that Heyrod Construction have recently won three major contracts in Liverpool, The Royal Liverpool University Hospital, Apex 2 and the Exhibition Centre.

We are committed to embarking on a strategy to reduce waste across all our processes, from tender through to delivery on site.

To help in this process, we applied for and won an Innovation Voucher which has enabled the funding for training staff in the the use of LEAN techniques. This project is being carried out in conjunction with Andy Spooner of Project Five Consulting Limited (formerly of Room 4 Consulting).

Heyrod Training working with the Prince's Trust

Oldhams young unemployed are facing a brighter future thanks to a month-long training scheme run by youth charity The Princes Trust and local contractor Wates Living Space and Heyrod Training Services.

18-25 year olds from across the town who have been struggling to find work took part in the Get Into Construction programme, which aims to move young unemployed people closer to a job in the construction industry.

The month-long course was delivered in partnership with Heyrod Training Services and comprised a combination of construction skills training and practical placements with local construction companies.

International Power Access Federation (IPAF) Awards 2011

Herod Training Services has been short listed for the 2011 International Awards for Power Access "Best new IPAF training centre”. The panel of judges has decided, against stiff competition from around the world that Heyrod Construction Ltd (Heyrod Training Services) should be short listed along with two other international companies for the award. This was due to the outstanding achievements in the first year of training, by working with a local authority with a ‘back to work initiative’ for the unemployed, training over 100 operators many of whom have now gained employment.
